We’re officially REBUILDING The Salty Crab Bar & Grill in Fort Myers Beach! 🦀🌴

After Hurricane Ian devastated our beloved beachside home in 2022, we've been working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring it back—and now, we finally have official approval to rebuild! 🙌

🎉 Construction will begin soon, and we expect to be welcoming you back with sandy toes, salty breezes, and ice-cold drinks within the next year!

👀 While the submitted renderings focused on structure, rest assured—we’re keeping that colorful, coastal charm you all know and love, both inside and out. This is still your Salty Crab… just with a fresh start.

💛 And to our amazing former team: if you were part of the Salty family before the storm, we’d love to have you back when we reopen. This rebuild is for YOU too.

The Salty Crab on Estero Boulevard was totally destroyed by Hurricane Ian. The property on which the popular restaurant once sat is now being used by the Margaritaville developer to stage equipment and vehicles.

‘Tis the season of giving🫶 and with that, please consider giving to this worthwhile organization👇🏼during the holiday season.❤️🎄

ℹ️ Prior to Hurricane Ian striking🌀, members of our team were registered to participate in a golf tournament to benefit Strength N Honor Charities, Inc., a local Lee County 501c3 charity organization dedicated to raising money for Wreaths Across America of Lee County, FL.

However, the fundraiser was canceled🚫 due to the hurricane.

Because of the continued need for donations amidst the cancelation of the fundraiser, the below GoFundMe has been setup by one of our owner’s sons, who is an aspiring Eagle Scout.🤝

The goal of the charity this year is to lay a wreath on every one of the 8000 veterans’ headstones at all 5 of Lee County’s participating Wreaths Across America locations, and remember the sacrifices each made for us, and our country.❤️🤍💙
