Hi friends! We created something special from nothing by having a vision at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. We transformed the space into a place for the community to escape and enjoy the natural elements of South Florida in the most simple form. We did this by supporting locals in every way including local small businesses and ever so important charities. The score card process the state of Florida set forth to extend our time at the Park & Ocean was unfair and does not give existing operators like us any credit for all we proved we can do and all we want to continue to do for the community. Their actions are opening the doors for national businesses to take over what Floridians call home and driving profits out of our state. It feels like a money grab and not what locals actually need. We are in favor of growth but not at the expense of our local community.
