Fort Collins Colorado Larimer County (county seat) Fort Collins is a city of 143,986 located approximately 57 miles north of Denver.

It is the home of Colorado State University and has much to offer in terms of cultural events, outdoor activities, and job opportunities. Recently, Fort Collins has been at the forefront of Colorado's 'beer culture,' with New Belgium and O'Dells breweries churning out world famous microbrews from the city's limits. Outdoor enthusiasts also enjoy the Cache La Poudre River, Horsetooth Resevoir and Lory State Park all close to Fort Collins.
