WHO IS THE SQUAD AND WHAT DO WE HAVE COMING UP?
For those new to our page, we wanted to share who we are, why The Squad was created, and what we have coming up.
The Squad was founded by eight former U.S. Army Infantry soldiers who served together. After our deployment, life took us in different directions. Careers, families, moves, and everyday life happened. Somehow, 17 years passed before we finally got the entire group back together.
When we did, the jokes, stories, trash talking, and most importantly, the bond we built while serving together were still there. We all walked away from that reunion feeling better than when we arrived.
That got us thinking. How many other veterans need exactly that?
That is why we created The Squad.
Our mission is to foster healing, connection, and recovery by facilitating squad sized military reunions for veterans. We want to help remove the financial and logistical barriers that can prevent veterans from reconnecting with the people they served alongside.
We also have a big fundraising event coming up.
THE SQUAD FUNDRAISER

Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin
The event will feature a bowling tournament, meat raffle, and silent auction, with proceeds supporting our mission and future veteran reunions.
We are currently looking for businesses and organizations interested in donating silent auction items, sponsoring the event, or supporting The Squad in other ways. If you would like to help, we would love to hear from you.
If you are in the Fort Atkinson area, come join us on November 14, have a good time, and help us support veterans and bring more squads back together.
