Sunday donuts with this 2014 pinot noir from the Peters Vineyards in the area of Sonoma County. It is showing a nose of bright red cherry, anise and raspberry tea with flavors of pomegranate, mushroom and cola. Jigar is led by owner Jigar Patel and winemaker Josh Bartels, who were classmates at Purdue University. Donuts and wine always work.
