January is a fantastic time of year to be in Tanzania because it’s the SEASON of NEW LIFE and one of the most extraordinary chapters of The Great Migration!

This is calving season when
thousands upon thousands of migrating wildebeest gather on the plains of Ndutu and the Southern Serengeti and enormous numbers of babies are being born!

Our journey will take us through Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, Ndutu and the Southern Serengeti, the Central Serengeti and the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater.

We’ll stay in gorgeous lodges and luxury tented accommodations, enjoy wonderful meals, experience incredible game drives with exceptional Tanzanian guides, spend a day connecting with local culture and community, and even have the option of experiencing the Serengeti from above on a hot-air balloon safari!

Our journey is similar to our recent experience - just a month ago (you may have been following our Safari on social media;) - with the difference being that in January we don’t need to travel all the way into the Northern Serengeti as all of the action is happening closer in the Southern and Central Serengeti allowing us a bit more downtime between game drives so we can enjoy our incredible accommodations too!

Another advantage of going in January is that the cost is significantly less than in the peak season of August. This safari is actually $4,100 less than our recent safari!

Our January Safari is limited to just 8 participants so don’t hesitate!

We understand that this journey is just 5 months away but don’t worry - we will absolutely get you prepared! We provide all the information you’ll need to feel confident and comfortable and we will also assist you in attaining your Visa and in figuring out flights if necessary.
