Thank you to everyone who came out today for Flag Day .

🇺🇸Flag Day : Flags are disposed of on Flag Day to honor them in a respectful, dignified way. When a flag becomes worn, torn, or faded, the U.S. Flag Code dictates that it should be destroyed. Burning is the preferred method because it prevents the flag from ending up in the trash.

Flag Day (June 14) is chosen for these ceremonies because it is the anniversary of the flag's adoption, making it the most patriotic time to honor "Old Glory
