Well, it was a great, albeit short, time on Sutter Street. After just over a year, The Filling Station is officially gone. With the constant change in regulations during the pandemic, it no longer made sense for us to hold onto the space. This isn’t a forever goodbye to a second location, rather, it’s a wait-and-see what’s next. A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support our Old Folsom hangout; we appreciated your support when we were open and for asking when we’d open again during COVID.

Our brewery, Red Bus Brewing Company is only 5 blocks up from Sutter Street and our doors are open every day with patio seating, a food option, rotating food trucks, and beer and gear to-go. Now more than ever is the time to , , , and . Support local businesses during this holiday season to keep your tax dollars in your community. Let’s keep local businesses open and not just surviving, but THRIVING!

We thank each and every one of you who supported our Sutter Street taproom, The Filling Station. Unfortunately, current (and the unknown end of) health mandates have forced us to close The Filling Station for good. Rent, lack of available labor and many other factors contributed to this.

It was short, but a great run nonetheless. We will be opening another location at some point, stay tuned, and don't forget the brewery!! , ,

Although we are still closed, our brewery up the street is pumping out amazing beer! SMASH TEST DUMMY 4-packs are back! While we are still closed until further notice, our brewery just up the street, Red Bus Brewing Company, will have pizza and pints on the patio tonight! Patio is open 4-9pm with Kombi Pizza Company serving up their delicious pizza pies. If you are feeling festive, try their OKTOBERFEST pizza with bockwurst, house-made sauerkraut, pretzel crust, and beer cheese dipping sauce made with our “Schmids & Giggles” festbier! Also, Folsom mayor Sarah Aquino and city councilman Andy Morin will be hosting office hours from 6-8pm at our place to answer any questions you have about our city!

Bus Riders:
We wanted to take a minute to give an appreciation and shoutout post to our design guru and good friend, Brian Wallace. Brian has been with Red Bus since the first inception when RBB owner Erik first told his friend Brian about his idea for the brewery to be themed around a vintage VW bus, and asked him if he would mock up a logo. Almost 3 years later, we've squeezed a lot of creative juice out of our friend and he keeps coming back with bigger and better designs. Anything Red Bus/The Filling Station you've seen, Brian has created: can art, crowler labels, shirts, hoodies, glassware, signs, all his creative genius. He's now taken his craft to a new level and has put up a website where you can buy custom and print designs highlighting his love for California. Tag a friend, check it out, support local, and buy his designs!

TOMORROW! We are re-opening our 2020 Bus Club memberships and extending them through December 31st, 2021! We figured everyone needed a 2020 pick-me-up, so nothing like your favorite craft beer to-go that you've already paid for at a discounted price!

All memberships are for 16 months, September 2020-December 31st 2021. See below for membership options (SYNCRO and DELUXE memberships are per month pickups):

-SPLIT WINDOW: $125: 10% off any Red Bus beer and gear

-SYNCRO: $240: 2 crowlers or 1, 4-pack per month + 10% off

-DELUXE: $450: 4 crowlers or 2, 4-packs per month + 10% off

You also have the option to add-on a second person to your membership for no extra cost. This gives your “alternate” permission to pick up your membership fills each month if needed.

Memberships go LIVE on our website starting at midnight, September 1st-September 30th. We will send out a link tomorrow to buy!

Friends,

We are disappointed to say that due to unforeseen circumstances, we are once again closing down The Filling Station until further notice. Long story short, our food vendor is no longer available with little notice to us. Though we are frustrated for our customers and staff that are affected, we are working on a new vendor and will let you know as soon as we are able to re-open.

As always, we appreciate your support as this season continues its ever-changing course. Please visit our brewery that is still open daily for to-go. Hours are M-SAT: 12-8pm, SUN: 12-6pm. You can also place your beer/gear order online for in-store pickup or Friday delivery. We have unique beers available in crowlers, growlers, 4-packs, and bottles for your enjoyment!

BACK OPEN THIS WEEKEND! 2-8pm Friday and Saturday on our sweet “patio” complete with mister fans! Don’t forget to bring your appetite, at least one “meal” is required per tab to drink onsite. We will see you today and tomorrow on Sutter Street!
