Short life, it seems. Not long ago the Green Room restaurant rose from the basement of the Playhouse to become a much-loved casual coastal fine dining establishment. Rave reviews sang the praises of the very gifted executive chef Ben Wiley, the service, the bartender from Hawaii, and the speakeasy ambience that says “special secret place”.
We’re saying goodbye to the Green Room. A hard decision, because we love the place and have had so many wonderful customers. But there is a time and a season for everything, and we know that Chef Ben is going to move to a higher and better future. We wish him a brilliant career doing what he does best! No one can take his place; but who knows what the future holds for our little basement restaurant! We’ll see!
