The wait is over, and Florence After 5 returns to the 100 block of S. Dargan Street TONIGHT, Friday, April 24 at 5:30 p.m.!
Tonight, we welcome Chris Taylor & The Rumor back to the Florence After 5 stage to kick off our weekend, back by popular demand!
NEW for 2026, be sure to stop by the ticket booth near the Florence County Museum and enter to win a custom Florence After 5 lawn chair! We'll be selecting two winners at each event, one at 7:30 p.m. and one at 8:30 p.m. You have to be present to win, and the winners will be announced at the stage. Each winner will receive one custom chair.
Here's what you need to know before heading downtown this evening:
🎤 Florence After Five takes place in the 100 block of South Dargan Street from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.
🎤 Florence After 5 is a rain or shine event, and we'll only postpone, adjust the schedule, or cancel in the event of ACTIVE weather threats such as lightning or high winds in the area.
🎤 Admission to the event is FREE thanks to our Platinum Sponsors: MUSC Health Florence Medical Center, Victors, The Citizens Bank, and Southern Crown Partners featuring Wicked W**d Brewing. Thank you also to our TV media sponsor, WMBF News!
🎤 Tonight's band will be Chris Taylor & The Rumor, playing all of your favorite hits from the 70s to now! They take the stage at 6:00pm and again at 7:30pm.
🎤 There will be food vendors, cold drinks, and beer/seltzer/draft margaritas available to attendees. To purchase these items, you must first purchase the yellow FA5 tickets from the ticket booth. $1 = 1 ticket and we accept both cash and cards. The ticket booth is located in-between the Florence County Museum and the Waters Building or you can stop by the beer booth.
🎤 Lawn chairs are welcome, but please leave outside coolers at home. They are not allowed!
🎤 Free parking is available in the City of Florence parking garage, the DHEC parking lot, and the County Complex parking garage and parking lot. All of these are just a short walk from the event. Handicap accessible parking is available on a first-come/first-serve basis in the DHEC parking lot and City of Florence parking garage.
🎤 Leashed and well socialized dogs are allowed, but please make sure you bring water for them and be mindful about hot pavement on paws.
🎤 This is a non-profit event and NO SOLICITATION (including political candidates) is allowed.
🎤 Public restrooms are located in the James Allen Plaza near the beer booth. Just follow the signs!
🎤 Although the event ends at 8:30pm, that doesn't mean you have to leave Downtown Florence. Back in 2026 is the Victors Party on the Patio in the James Allen Plaza until 10 p.m. featuring Voodoo Child!
