Calling on our friends in Rappahannock and our surrounding counties!!!
As most of you know, our fantastic Captain of this crazy ship called The Dark Horse also owns and operates a horse rescue and sanctuary farm locally, aptly named Kirwan's Farm. This is a plea for anyone with hay in need of cutting! With the drought conditions and low production versus previous years, Mark is looking for more fields to cut to sustain the farm and its many inhabitants through the year and into the winter. Mark will come out to cut and bale and will also sign off for your agricultural land use. For a man so generous with his time and efforts in so many areas, we ask that you contact us if you know of any opportunities. With production so low on the first cut, it will take a bit more than a village to increase the current stores, so please pass this on to anyone who may be able to help! You can message us directly with contact info, and Mark will be in touch shortly! Thank you for your help!
