Yahara Bay is closed to the public Saturday for a private party and full venue buyout.

Which, now that we mention it, is a pretty good way to throw a party.

We'll see everyone else next week.

We're okay with that.

Sometimes Friday needs a stage. Sometimes it needs a comfortable chair, a bartender who knows what they're doing, and the right place to discover a second cocktail you hadn't planned on ordering.

Tonight is the second kind.

Jack Beyler joins us Thursday evening. He's a classically trained guitarist, which might give you the wrong idea about what you're going to hear.

Classical? Yes.

But also jazz, rock, blues and whatever else finds its way into the evening.

Come early. Find a comfortable chair. Get a proper cocktail in front of you and see where Jack takes things.

Cocktail lounge opens at 5:00 pm, doors at 6:30 pm, Jacklyn goes on at 7:30 pm.
