🇺🇸 WINTER PULL TAB BOOTH HELP WANTED 🇺🇸

We’re looking for someone fun, flexible, and reliable to help out in the pull tab booth at the VFW starting in November.

This is a minimal Saturday position, perfect for someone just looking to pick up some extra hours here and there. 1- 2 shifts per month.

Typical shifts may include:
• 11:00 AM–4:00 PM
• 4:00 PM–close
• Occasionally 11:00 AM–close if you’d prefer the full day and the opportunity is available

Previous point-of-sale experience is preferred, especially with SureTouch. Having experience with a similar system can make it much easier to get comfortable and pick things back up quickly.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, comfortable working with people, and can bring a little personality and fun to the booth!

Join us on September 12th from 3–7 PM as we celebrate Michelle and her incredible 20 years with our VFW!

Michelle has been an important part of our VFW family for the past 20 years. We’d love to have everyone join us to celebrate, share memories, and wish her well on her next adventure.

FREE sloppy joes and chips will be served!

DJ and karaoke start at 6 PM, so stick around for a fun evening as we give Michelle the send-off she deserves!

🏆 We are incredibly proud to announce that VFW Post 612, Harold T. Swenson Post, has been officially recognized as a 2025–2026 VFW All-American Post!
This honor is one of the highest distinctions within the Veterans of Foreign Wars and reflects the dedication, leadership, and commitment of our entire post to serving veterans, their families, and our community.

A special thank you goes to officers for their hard work, leadership, and countless hours of service that helped make this achievement possible.

This recognition represents the collective efforts of our members who continue to recruit, mentor, advocate, volunteer, and strengthen our mission every day.

Congratulations to everyone who played a role in this outstanding accomplishment. We are proud to be an All-American Post and look forward to continuing to serve our veterans and our community.

Today, on Purple Heart Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who were wounded or made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

The Purple Heart is more than a medal. It represents courage, sacrifice, and a willingness to put others before self. For those who wear it, the cost of freedom is deeply personal.

As members of VFW Post 612, we remember our fellow veterans who carry the visible and invisible scars of war, and we honor those who never made it home. Their sacrifices and the sacrifices of their families will never be forgotten.

It was wonderful to see our community come together to honor and support the men and women who have served our country. Events like this wouldn't be possible without the organizations that make up the Fergus Falls Veteran's Council: Fergus Falls VFW Post 612, American Legion Post 30, and the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).

Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make the day a success.

A special thank you to the Fergus Falls Police Department for stopping by to show their support for our local veterans. Your presence and partnership mean a great deal to our veteran community.

Most of all, thank you to our veterans and their families. We are honored to celebrate you and appreciate everyone who helped make this year's event another great success. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
