African World Peace Festival

African World Peace Festival AWPF is a Community Festival at 116 Person St. Fayetteville, NC 28301 celebrating Mother Africa.

Join us on Saturday, July 15th for the 3rd Annual African World Peace Festival & 5K Peace Run! The festival and music concert, in conjunction with the 5K Peace Run, will bring together over 2,000 participants as we attempt to fill downtown with a variety of African music and dance groups, African bands, and for the second time in Fayetteville we will honor American soldiers of African descent! Pro

ceeds from the African World Peace Festival benefit Loving Hands International, a public nonprofit humanitarian charity organization serving underprivileged communities in the US and Africa, promoting and implementing development programs in Quality Healthcare, Education Advancement, Agricultural Productivity and Socio-economic Advancement to improve overall quality of life of the poor and needy.
