A good venue gives you a place to gather. Erik made us feel like he was rooting for us before we even walked in.

This week’s Five-Star Call Out goes to Erik and the team at B**r Me! Taproom & W**e Bar in Fate. From checking in before Sylvia’s book launch to welcoming the people who came to celebrate, they helped make a day with a pretty big missing ingredient feel special.

The books didn’t arrive, but our friends and family did. We got to spend time together, introduce people to a local spot we love, and enjoy the celebration.

Thank you, Erik, for supporting local people and the things they’re brave enough to try. We were happy to give you a proper thank-you in Episode 12 of The Drive.

If you’re around Fate, keep B**r Me! in mind for your next get-together.

πŸ₯©πŸŽΆ HOLY COW! What a night at B**r Me! 🍻

Turns out A LOT of people were excited to β€œMEAT” Meagan from Gabriel Ranch! πŸ˜‚ And boy, did they show up! We had a PACKED HOUSE for last night’s Music Bingo!

We rocked through three rounds of Country, Rock, and Hip-Hop! 🎸🎀

Now, that last round may have challenged a few folks… but you know how we do things at B**r Me! Customer service is EVERYTHING! Even if that means helping a few members of the Greatest Generation figure out who the heck Ludacris is! 🀣🎢

Our three lucky winners walked away with some fantastic selections from the Gabriel Ranch Meat Market! πŸ₯©πŸ†

A HUGE thank-you to Meagan and Gabriel Ranch for sponsoring such a fun night! Having downtown businesses show up and support one another is exactly what our SHOP LOCAL philosophy is all about. When local businesses work together, the entire community wins! ❀️

🎸 AND THE FUN DOESN’T STOP!

Join us TONIGHT, Friday, October 30, for LIVE MUSIC in the breezeway featuring Kollin Sweeney & Austin Valladarez from 7–10 PM!

Cold b**r, great w**e, live music, and even better company!

🍻 WOW! B**R ME! IS A FINALIST FOR ONE OF THE BEST DOWNTOWN BUSINESSES IN TEXAS! πŸ†πŸŽ‰

We’re still trying to wrap our heads around this one!

We are beyond GRATEFUL, HONORED, and EXCITED to announce that B**r Me! has been selected as one of just SEVEN FINALISTS across the entire state of Texas for the Texas Downtown Association’s 2026 President’s Award for Best Downtown Business!

Let that sink in for a second… Our little taproom in Downtown Fate is being recognized alongside some of the best downtown businesses in the entire Lone Star State! 🀯

When we opened B**r Me!, our vision was never just about pouring great b**r and serving fantastic w**e. It was about creating something bigger. A place where strangers become friends, neighbors become family, and a community comes together.

Fun. Family. Community. ❀️

And to see that vision being recognized on a statewide level is something we couldn’t be more proud of.

Next week, we’ll be heading to Amarillo for the Texas Downtown Association’s Annual Conference and President’s Awards celebration, where we’ll join the other incredible finalists and find out who takes home the top honor!

But here’s the thing…

Whether we bring home the award or not, we already feel like winners.

Because none of this happens without YOU.

To our amazing customers, our incredible team, our fellow downtown businesses, the City of Fate, and everyone who has supported us along the way β€” THANK YOU!

You’ve helped turn a little b**r and w**e bar into something truly special, and we couldn’t be more proud to represent Downtown Fate, Texas!

So raise a glass with us, Fate! 🍻

WE’RE GOING TO AMARILLO!!! πŸŽ‰πŸ†

πŸ’¨πŸ”₯ GOOD CI**RS, GREAT PEOPLE & VIBES THAT WERE DEFINITELY VIBIN’! 🍻

Last night’s Community & Ci**rs event at B**r Me! was another one for the books!

A HUGE shoutout to Executive Stixxs & Ash, one of the newest mobile cigar lounges to hit the DFW scene, for rolling into Downtown Fate and bringing out a fantastic crowd!

These folks came prepared with an incredible selection of ci**rs! From Rocky Patel to H. Upmann, My Father Ci**rs, and even a little Fat Bottom Betty action! πŸ’¨πŸ”₯ There was definitely something for every cigar lover to enjoy.

Cold b**r, beautiful weather, great conversations, and a whole lot of laughs. The vibes were definitely VIBIN’! 😎

If you haven’t checked out Executive Stixxs & Ash, you’re missing out! Give them a follow on social media, show them some love, and consider booking their mobile cigar lounge for your next private party, corporate gathering, or special event!

πŸ‘ Thanks to everyone who came out and made another Community & Ci**rs night such a success. We love seeing new friendships made and our community coming together!

We are always on time (except for today ) We’re getting a little bit of a late start today! We’ll be opening at 3:30 PM instead of our usual time.

Tuesday afternoons are typically a little slower, so we use that time to catch up on deliveries, administrative work, and all the behind-the-scenes stuff that keeps the b**r flowing! 🍻

Just wanted to give you a heads-up in case you were planning to swing by for an early cold one!

See y’all at 3:30! Cheers! 🍺
