For so long the music scene on Long Island was pretty much non existent lol or you heard of something going on and because it didn't get the support it should've gotten, it ended. I have been afforded the opportunity to become a part of something so great! And the best part of it is that it's happening right here on Long Island! Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan all have this going already so why can't we have the same thing here?! The Groove Open Mic has something for everybody! It's for the young, the seasoned ( I don't wanna say old lol ) and everyone in between. Great musicians, really dope singers, poets and comedians from all walks of life!
