Yesterday we celebrated our staff family.
Working a Summer at Caracas Rockaway is very much like going to summer camp with the slight difference that you come to work really hard. But the analogy works because we become a pretty tight family and we coexist together for 5 months.
Every summer the majority of us return to summer camp and every summer we get new campers (workers) that soon become pillars in the ecosystem.

Our staff party was a epic thanks to the incredible hospitality by Gina at Jupiter Club and for the delicious food that Erik maestrofuego.mx made for us.

Thank you Joaquin for the generous help and to Cheo Pardo Jose Luis “Cheo” Pardo for always supporting and laughing with us.

On Sunday the rain will only be in the morning and then will be a glorious day with the Sandcastle Competition back by us. Creative Time is organizing it and should be an incredible display of sand artistry.
brothers rockaway and us will be hanging out with the one and only Edan that will honor us with his records in a set from 3-7pm

Last Saturday 8/29 we hosted The Boosh for the 3rd summer in a row. A dance party in it’s pure form orchestrated by m i c c a in the name of radical joy.
It was so fun 🤩… we had the honor to have two legends behind the turntables: Doug Sherman from The Loft and Andrew VanWyngarde. Vibes were immaculate and the dance floor was on 🔥 until the end. Thanks to m i c c a and all the volunteers for their incredible work and faith in the power of movement.

Hope to see you this long labor day weekend for some more fun!

Amid the devastation and uncertainty in Venezuela, international emergency aid is urgently needed and getting there. But there are also many local organizations already working on the ground—often with very limited access to funding, supplies, and resources.

These groups have been there for years. They know their communities, they understand the needs firsthand, and they will remain essential not only during this emergency response, but throughout the long road toward recovery and reconstruction.

We want to help strengthen their ability to serve. Our goal is to find a legal and transparent way to route financial support from people around the world directly to trusted Venezuelan organizations that are already doing this critical work.

We are looking for experienced legal guidance related to international NGOs, charitable giving, cross-border aid, and nonprofit structures.

If you have experience in this area—or know someone who does—please reach out. Your advice could help ensure that urgently needed support reaches the people and communities who need it most.

Together, we can help local organizations continue helping Venezuela!

Every restaurant was filled up! Thank YOU!
