Good afternoon Churchill county! Happy post primary day! Thank you to everyone who made it to the polls to exercise your constitutional right. It is our voters that make the decisions for our county. Those who do not vote gave each of you a heavy burden to choose what’s best for the rest. Additionally, thank you to each and every candidate running. Public service comes with great responsibility and great personal risk. It takes conviction, courage, and dedication to throw your name into the race and risk personal exposure and potential loss. Each of you makes our governmental system the greatest in the world. It takes us all to make our county work. Lastly, congratulations to all of our primary winners. Many of you are finished with your race for the year and awaiting a January begin. Those still running, I wish you steadfastness and perseverance through November and beyond. I’d like to thank each and every one of you for your support of me in my run for school board for a second term. I am excited to serve another term as school board member and continue the work as well as listen to your wants and needs as we move forward. On a funny note, It will be amazing come November when all of the campaign signs come down and life gets back to just serving Churchill county. Happy summer! Take time to enjoy family and friends. Time to celebrate! Gregg and I have been enjoying time together and having fun. Jose and David have officially taken over ownership of the business. Join us Friday January 20 to celebrate all YOU made Malkos’ to be and spend time visiting with Gregg and I! We have loved serving and taking care of YOU!!!

Hey! It’s the fifth day AFTER Christmas (and only 360 days till Christmas next year!) and a perfect day to get together with friends! Come join Gregg and I on YOUR side of the bar and tell us your holiday stories and plans! (Today is National Bacon day —-so guess a bit of ours!). Can’t wait to see you!!
