We’re excited to finally share some big news with our community.

The 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲, and we are proud to announce that we are now the owners of 439 Martine Street, the former LePage’s Seafood location.

This marks the beginning of a brand-new chapter for us. This space will become a completely new restaurant concept — featuring a new name, new menu, and a new team — built from the ground up with a fresh vision and identity.

We also want to be very clear and reassure our guests:

-𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝.

Our Swansea location remains fully open, operating as usual, and going nowhere.

A few quick questions we’ve already been receiving:

• 𝗜𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗲’𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀?
No. While we respect the history of the location, this will be an entirely new restaurant with its own concept and direction.

• 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴?
We are currently in the early renovation and planning phase. An opening timeline will be shared once plans are finalized but are definitely a ways away.

• 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴?
Yes. Hiring events and employment opportunities will be announced as we get closer.

• 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱?
The new restaurant will be called Anchor & Stone.

• 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘂 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀?
No. The menu will be entirely different and will not be copied or rotated from any of our existing locations. Our goal is to create a distinct and unique experience for our guests at Anchor & Stone.

•𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗲𝘁?
Not yet. The logo and visual branding are currently in the discovery phase and are being developed thoughtfully.

• 𝗗𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴?
Yes. Anchor & Stone was chosen as a tribute to our father and holds deep personal significance for our family as we begin this next chapter.

• 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀?
