As many know, home brewing can be very therapeutic. A couple of months ago I said goodbye to my Newfoundland, Liam. The next day I took the time to clean out my house of all of his toys, dishes, and other items and I brewed this lager. Lagers take time, and it gave me a great opportunity to reflect. A nice crisp maibock that gives a nice introduction to my first spring without my pup. Great label by . Also made a point to use bottles from (hands down my favorite brewery) for this special home brew.

Tonight was ladies night at Fosters Tales and Ales! Along with the burgers we had Flannel Friday “on tap” (meaning from the growler we got from their Windsor, VT brewery). Absolutely perfect for this beautiful fall night!
