Labor Day weekend, you were GOOD to us🥂

From a beautiful welcome party in Narragansett on Friday, to a 10 year anniversary celebration in South Dartmouth on Saturday, to an intimate 40th birthday celebration in Yarmouth on Sunday, our weekend was packed with moments worth celebrating.

Three completely different events, each with their own story, details, and people who made them special✨

And behind every one of them is a team that shows up, works hard, and cares deeply about creating an incredible guest experience. This wouldn’t be be possible without our amazing team or the incredible lineup of vendor partners who pour so much into these events alongside us.

We get to build bars, craft cocktails, serve guests, and watch people celebrate some of the biggest moments of their lives.

If there’s one thing we’ll always recommend adding to your wedding weekend, it’s a welcome party ❤️‍🔥

It’s the chance to kick things off, slow down for a minute, and pour into the people who traveled near and far to celebrate you.

For M + F, the Madden Made team made sure every detail of their Narragansett welcome party was intentional. It was about sharing their story, bringing their favorite people together, and welcoming everyone into a place they love so much.

And then there was our favorite part: watching them actually be present for it all.

With 200 guests, passed cocktails, and two bar stations, our team kept everything flowing effortlessly so M + F could do what they came to do: enjoy their people.

M+C wanted their welcome party to set the tone for their wedding weekend.

A 50th birthday deserves more than a bar. It deserves an experience ☀️

For this Chestnut Hill celebration, we leaned all the way into their SOLAR theme, creating a custom bar experience with 3 signature cocktails + 1 elevated mocktail, each designed to feel like part of the celebration.

Jen held it down behind the bar while Alexis and Jasmine circulated passed cocktails throughout the space.

Because the best events aren’t just about what’s being served. They’re about creating those little moments guests remember long after the last pour🥂

Life has been really cool lately and I’ve been trying to slow down long enough to actually take it all in 🤍

It’s brought us to the most beautiful places 🌊

Got to celebrate my sister’s wedding day🥂

Attended and collaborated with Girl Gang for an incredible summer soirée 🥰

Finally completed our new circular bar (the Ocean) and love the way it came together.

Took time to pause and be silly with my kids 🤙

Continued our annual lemonade stand tradition.

Soaked up the last bit of summer with my family on Cape💗

Took a much needed a sister trip 🏔️

Chased waterfalls 😍

Celebrated love in the most beautiful ways.

Celebrated fashion 😍

Pet all the dogs.

Very very grateful.

The big moments, the little ones, the beautiful chaos, the people I get to do life with, the memories we’re making, and even the moments that didn’t go exactly as planned.

This season of life has held a lot. A lot to be grateful for, a lot to learn from, and a lot that has reminded me just how quickly everything changes.

I’m incredibly grateful for the work, the opportunities, and everything we’re building, but even more grateful for the people who make all of it meaningful. My family, my friends, my people, and everyone who continues to show up for me in ways big and small.

There’s still so much ahead before this year comes to a close, and I’m trying not to rush through it.

More memories. More adventures. More celebrating. More time with the people I love. More saying yes to the things that make life feel really, really good.

Can I be real with you for a second?

Four years ago I started this with absolutely nothing figured out. No fleet, no team, just a gut feeling and way too much excitement for my own good. My mindset was full steam ahead, and “no” just wasn’t an answer I was willing to accept. I could feel it in my bones that I had to give this a try, and I’ve kept giving it everything I’ve got ever since.

Looking at where we are today: a whole fleet of bars, 13 people I adore and trust with everything, a beverage program we get to build exactly the way our clients dream it up. I’m just so full right now, I had to share.

I can’t say thank you enough. Thank you for booking us, for believing in us from the very beginning, for telling your people about us, for letting us stand next to you on some of the biggest days of your life. Every single bit of this, I get to build because of you. I don’t take one second of that for granted.

Growing this team & this business to its fullest potential always has my foot on the gas pedal.

Not just growing bigger, growing better 🥰

Watching my people level up, watching us take on more than some may thought we were ready for, that’s the sweet spot for me✨ And I love that we get to do it with an effortless feel every single time.

Dolly Parton talks about how real leadership is inspiring the people around you to dream bigger & become more than they thought they could be. That’s what I want for my team every single day. It’s why I do things a little differently here. Why I show up for my people first. Why I partner with nonprofits doing real work to make this world more equal and accessible. Why I get loud about the causes that make my heart happy. I didn’t grow up listening to Dolly, but I grew into a woman who aligns deeply with the person she is. She says everyone deserves respect and the room to just be who they are, and that one lives in me every single day, in how we treat our clients and how we treat each other.

This will always be a place where everyone is welcome. No exceptions.

The dream continues, and the excitement for what’s coming is so worth the wait. Something new is rolling in soon, and I seriously can’t wait to share!

With flowing cloth sides, a custom wood bar top, and the ability to customize the bar top with a painted design to complement your event theme, The Ocean is more than a bar. It’s an experience, a focal point, and a gathering place.
