As a new business in downtown Fairfield! We can’t wait for Thursdays! Come on in and meet us! We’d love to have you in for dinner and a drink!

The Fairfield Farmers Market is back and fresher than ever, and you are invited to the ribbon cutting on May 7 at 4 pm.

Starting that same Thursday, the market runs every week from 3 to 7 pm at the County Green (600 Texas Street) in Downtown Fairfield through September 24. That is 21 straight Thursdays of fresh, locally grown produce, artisan baked goods, handmade goods, live music, and activities for the whole family.

This year, Kaiser Permanente is the Market Match Sponsor. Take advantage of the Kaiser Permanente Market Match program to stretch your dollar further at the market. Available on a first come, first served basis.

And if you are heading downtown anyway, make a full evening of it. Dine Out Downtown is back too. Grab a postcard at the market and take it to any participating downtown restaurant for 15 to 20 percent off your entire bill (alcohol not included) on Thursdays during market hours. It is a great way to shop local, eat fresh, and support the restaurants that make Downtown Fairfield worth visiting.

I met Tonya when she was the Director of Membership for the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce. She understands what communities need in order for businesses to thrive.
