At the Lark & Weaver, the goal is to have a plenty of food and drink options, including a wide variety of beer (from affordable to a little pricey), wine, mead, and tavern foods that fit with our themes of medieval fantasy. And for those of you who are just looking to have a good alcohol-free time we'll have coffees and a rotating menu of delicious themed mocktails, inspired by movies and video games. I'm hoping to gain additional funds through investors, loans, and applying for grants, but funding from Kickstarter would be key in helping The Lark & Weaver get off the ground. We've estimated our starting costs to be roughly $50k -
Permits & Licenses - $4k
Renovations/Decor - $20k (depending on the success of crowdfunding this could be lower or higher)
Startup Inventory - $5k
Fixed Assets - $15k
Insurance - $5632/year
Of course there are always unforeseen problems that crop up with projects like this, and I'm hoping that any funding I'm able to secure through Kickstarter can go towards solving those problems. The last thing I want is for The Lark & Weaver Tavern to make it 75% of the way and then get stopped dead in its tracks.
