Cat's Amazing Cat's Amazing is a foster based cat rescue. We have cats and kittens at the Princeton Petsmart, 111 Nassau Park Blvd.

Visit during store hours or Sat & Sun 12-5pm when volunteers are onsite.

Ok this is getting ridiculous!!! Slinky & Rex have been literally waiting for months for a family and we are getting close to having to separate this bonded pair…we’ve had lots of interest in them as singles but none as a pair…are they destined to go their separate ways?!? They cannot continue to live in a crate, almost their entire kitten hood has been locked up most of the time…its not fair, these two are bursting with energy, playfulness and joy and locking them up after a short play session is starting to get really depressing. These cats are amazing….we are all perplexed how they keep getting overlooked! If you have room in your heart and home for this twosome, we’d be thrilled but if you are interested in either one we are all ears at this point. 😢 Slinky & Rex continue to live at the Princeton Petsmart and can be visited during store hours or text 732.850.0779 for a private appointment or more information. Handsome older gent Plomito was found outside alone. This beautiful and sweet boy was struggling to survive but thankfully someone stepped in and got him the help he needed. Plomito has had a full dental and most of his teeth have been removed. His recent blood work looks great and he is estimated to be around 7-8 years old. He is a truly sweet and tolerant cat and would love a quiet, calm and loving home. He would probably be just fine with a friendly cat buddy too. Rocco is the very definition of hot mess express! This darling boy was living rough and we mean rough on the mean streets of Elizabeth and his finders reached out for help for this incredibly loving boy. Rocco still looks like a wreck but he is vastly improved, this poor guy had double & severe eye infections, an upper respiratory infection and was suffering from a terrible case of flea dermatitis In addition to being just plain filthy. Currently Rocco has been cleared for adoption but his appearance can still be a bit off putting…his fur is dry/rough and his irritation has scabbed over, his eyes are significantly improved but he will need his drops daily for the time being but that all said, we’d love to see him in a home that will continue his intense TLC so the handsome cat just under the surface can emerge. Rocco is at the Princeton Petsmart waiting for someone to love him the way he is now and for the gorgeous boy he will be!

Do you want to rescue four cats for the price of two??? Slinky & Rex have been waiting for weeks in our largest kennel at the Princeton Petsmart and they truly need a loving home. These two older kittens were found outside as babies and brought in…Rex is a total love machine and his sister, Slinky is shyer but warms up once she feels safe. They don’t show their best side in the store and we pray a family will come today to give them the shot at a loving home. We desperately need that large crate for other cats, we have kittens that need to come down but we don’t like them in the tight crates…once this darling twosome are adopted we can reload that crate with cats in foster and pull in some cats that are in desperate situations but we cannot take on any more cats until some of our lingerers get adopted. We are at capacity…please consider giving these sweet angels the family and life they deserve or any of our other cats in need. We continue to be on an intake hold due to space and financial constraints…adoptions help on both fronts!

We are so sad tonight as yet another one of our kitties has lost his fight. Sweet but shy Logan came to us about a month ago from a house with too many cats, he and his sister Lara were kept in crates. Sadly we discovered during their vetting they were both FELV positive. Over the past few days, Logan stopped eating and was clearly declining and this evening we said goodbye…the vet was quite sure he didn’t have much of a chance to recover and he was probably suffering…the right but hard decision was made to let him go. His sister currently seems fine and we pray she stays that way. FELV is insidious and we hate this disease so much. Fly high sweet boy, we hardly got to know you and wanted to give you a chance at a happy life…we hope you know you were loved in the short time we knew you. Please as we always ask take a minute to acknowledge this cat existed and mattered so many leave this world with zero acknowledgment or care…

Slinky & Rex need a home! These darling eight month kittens that are growing up in a crate! They are friendly, playful and loving and I can’t figure out how they keep getting overlooked. We are so close to meeting our goal to cover the majority of Albert's vet bills. His total including his unfortunate euthanasia was well over 6k but we tried so hard to save him...and sadly even the most basic vet care, hospitalization and diagnostics add up really quickly. At this time until we have paid off Albert's bill and several other large medical bills we took on we will be on a complete hold. We are desperately seeking adopters and volunteer transporters as well.
We have so many beautiful cats and kittens at Petsmart right now that need loving homes. Without donations, adopters and support our rescue will not be able to continue much longer. We are drowning in cats and debt...every single day 4-5 people reach out for help with strays or personal animals. Up until recently we rarely said no...but for the time being we are essentially shut down for any intake. If you have room in your heart & home please consider adopting one or two of our sweet cats. We can work privately with you to help you find the perfect fit also,
