What's our favorite winter beer? That's right: The Leafcutter. The homebrew recipe that would eventually become The Leafcutter was actually conceived at a ski lodge as the ultimate apres ski beer: light and drinkable after a hard day on the slopes, with a touch of floral pine from the Simcoe hops, and a bready finish. We settled on the Kölsch yeast after extensive trials, finding that the delicate esters formed just the right bridge between the distinctive American hop character and the more lager-like recipe construction. Grab a few cans and throw them in your backpack for the next trip to the mountains!

🚨New Beer Alert🚨

This English Porter is perfect for the fall weather. It has an ABV of 4.8% and an IBU of 18.

English Porters have no roasted barley or strong burnt/black malt character. Low to medium malt sweetness, caramel and chocolate is acceptable. Hop bitterness is medium. Softer, sweeter and more caramel-like than a robust porter, with less alcohol and body.

Celebrating 40 years October 6-8, 2022 in Denver! America’s favorite beer festival and cultural phenomenon is back and it’s going to be epic!

Oh man.

In two weeks, on the 21st of July, we’ll be releasing our collaboration with our friends as part of a weeklong celebration of Lambic.

This lovely blend is composed of three years of spontaneously fermented Belgian Lambic, thoughtfully assembled by Pierre and team at Gueuzerie Tilquin, blended with three years of our own spontaneously fermented Oregon beer.
The final blend was then transferred into Old Tom Gin barrels for further conditioning.
It’s as good as it sounds.

For the release week, we’ll be digging into our archive for an appropriately awesome selection of Lambic bottles and kegs to enjoy here, from (amongst others) , , & .
More details to come.

Mark your calendars, as bottles of this collaboration are very limited, and some of the bottles and draft to enjoy here as part of the celebration will be quite limited as well.
