In our last post I hinted what Hush will bring in 2026 and murder is on our mind 🔪

Interested in experiencing Murder Mystery Dinner theater at another famous downtown location (yet to be named) based on actual murders that happened in Downtown Evansville over 100 years ago? Several historic murders have yet to be solved in Evansville with some from the 1920s prohibition era involving bootleggers, flapper girls, Al Capone’s Southside gang, and possibly even Jack the Ripper himself after relocating to Evansville from London! These are not fabricated stories, researched and written by Kelly Coures, they are actual murders from headlines of the Evansville Courier many years ago with several making national news, but the murders were never solved and the murderers were never brought to justice… Do you have what it takes to hear the evidence, unravel the mystery, and solve murders even our local police department could not solve a century ago?!?

Details coming soon but our story is not over and our new chapter is just about to begin! How many would be interested in a new 1920’s Hush experience with our same famous cocktails, a new story to be told, a crime to be solved, in a different beautiful downtown location? It’s a different vision but something we’ve done before and want to perfect for our entire city to enjoy, hope you’ll join us!

Hush on Main before and after❤️ Creating this beautiful space in Downtown Evansville has been one of my best life experiences.
I’ve owned a bit of real estate through the years but this one stole my heart. The space we created, the wonderful customers we’ve served, staff I’ve grown to love, the experiences we’ve all shared together, all have been priceless. Each birthday party, anniversary, wedding, engagement, private event, photo shoot, corporate party, and every other event we’ve been fortunate enough to host have had such a great impact on people’s lives, including my own.

We love our customers, love our neighbors, love Downtown Evansville, and love what we created, but beginning Thursday November 6, Hush will become a private use venue that will no longer be open to the public. We will be open seven days a week between now and then and truly hope each of you will visit us at least one more time including our Spookeasy Halloween party this Friday night and enter our costume contest at 10 PM!

This has been an amazing experience, words can’t express the gratitude, thanks to each of you, and we are very excited for what’s next!

Kipplee’s owners Matt & Kaycey Klees made their way to Hush last night, loved getting to know the couple that makes one of my favorite pizzas in Evansville! Kippleys is an iconic Evansville brand that I’ve enjoyed for decades, the owners are fantastic people, and I can’t wait to visit them again for some of that amazing pizza and great atmosphere!!!

One of the most beautiful spots in Evansville is set to open on Main Street next Friday October 24th with a super cool vibe and one of the most gracious hosts I’ve ever met. John’s parties are legendary and now you’re invited! Grab your sportcoat or cocktail dress, this is an event you will not want to miss!!
