Our final day turns Studio5 into a house full of music, dancing, workshops, and jam sessions, with activities happening in multiple rooms throughout the afternoon.
CONTRA DANCE & LIVEBAND
🕒 3:00–5:00 PM
Join caller Jo Mortland and Fred Campeau's Old T Blue & the Shipmates for two hours of traditional Contra Dancing with live music.

Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or a complete beginner, we’ll get you moving.

One Sunday ticket grants access to all Cajun events.

Spend the afternoon dancing Contra, sit in on the jam session, learn Cajun fiddle, take a dance lesson, and then finish the evening dancing to one of the Madison's finest Cajun bands,

Day Three of our Down Home Weekend opens up the Studio5 dance floor! If you want to cut a rug, here's your opportunity. We'll have two sets by the wonderful Madison band, The Cajun Strangers, paired with an hour of Cajun dance instruction before the concert, led by Louie Stallone. This is going to be so much fun! Come hear a great band, and if you just can't sit still, well, get right on up!
And if that isn't enough dancing for you, earlier we're also offering two hours of Contra Dance with Fred Campeau's Old T Blue and the Shipmates, with dances called by Jo Mortland.
Could there be a better way to end our Down Home Weekend than dancing with friends on a crowded floor? Umm ... no.
