Salar will be joined by master rûbab player Quraishi for an evening full of classical and folk music from Afghanistan! We're looking forward to Zoë Aqua and her Transylvanian String Band tomorrow (Tuesday, February 24) at 7:30 PM in Aasen-Hull Hall! Before that, UO School of Music and Dance percussion students get a chance to learn more about the cimbalom. Don't miss what promises to be an amazing concert, featuring a blend of Transylvanian folk music and klezmer and the hottest viola rhythm section you've seen!
