🍂 Welcome October 🇮🇪

October in Ireland carries us towards one of the oldest points in the traditional calendar: Samhain.

Long before modern Halloween, Samhain marked the beginning of winter and the turning of the year. The night before, Oíche Shamhna, was associated with fires, feasting, games, disguise and old beliefs about the boundary between this world and the otherworld growing thinner.

Many traditions that survived into Irish Halloween customs involved apples, nuts, fortune-telling games and remembering the dead. Over time, these customs changed, but traces of the older season still remain.

By the end of October, Ireland is filled with bonfires, costumes, ghost stories and celebrations that carry echoes of much older traditions.

In just about two hours, while you’re sipping on a glass of Guinness or Irish Wh***ey*, Brian Mark Hahn will guide you through the painting, step-by-step. At the end of the night, take home your own unique masterpiece—you will be amazed with what you can do!

We use non-toxic acrylic paint and provide 16” x 20” canvases at all of our events. We provide everything you will need for use at the event: canvas, paints, brushes and even an apron! You just bring your fun-loving friends and have a few adult drinks! And delicious Irish or American food too!!

Events last approximately two hours, at the end of which you get to take home your new masterpiece. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to start time, especially if you have a large group. This will secure seating with your friends and allow you to order your drink & food before the event begins.

*No food or drink is included with your ticket price, and must be purchased at the restaurant. Please note: This is NOT A BYOB event.
