Well kids, the rumors are true. Covid-19 didn't kill us though. It was the City of Eugene. They bought the property last year and became our landlord. They decided to reject the three offers made by Rick to buy the property over the year. Then they said they would not be able to renew our lease and we had to be out by the first. The city plans to demolish the building.
Thank you so much for being part of our family! This has been the best job, best co-workers, best bosses and best customers turned friends and best time in my bartending history I have ever had. I don't know that I will ever find another job that will be as great as this has been. We wish you the best and hope to have you cross our paths in the future. I will try to post with updates as the bartenders find new jobs and let you know where you can find them. Be safe. Wear your stupid masks and we hope to see you on the other side.
