We are happy to announce that the Lake Champlain Ferries will be allowing walk on passengers as of Saturday the 22nd of May! Just four short days after on May 26th will be our opening day of the season. Call to book a reservation at (518) 963-4232.
Additionally, for the month of June, the restaurant will be closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Monday, Thursday-Saturday we will be opening at 11:30am and Sunday we will be opening at 11am for Brunch!
We are so excited to see everyone!

UPDATE: The Old Dock will be opening on May 26 th for our 2021 season!
We will be back in action 7 days a week with lunch starting at 11:30am and dinner beginning at 5pm. We will also be offering a Sunday brunch 11am-3pm with our full menu available after that concludes.
A sneak peak of the menu will be available next week, so keep an eye out!
We can’t wait to welcome everyone back!
Additionally, The Dock is also accepting resumes for a floor manager with 3 years’ experience in management. Oversee 25 floor staff. Experience with wedding parties required. Great multitasking skills. Familiar with POS system.
Also looking for full time hostess. Enjoys working with people. Great organization skills. Works well with all departments. Excellent communication skills.
We are also looking for kitchen help – sous chef, line cooks, dishwashers as well as front of the house help – bartenders, severs, hosts, bussers.

The seawall is complete with an excellent new surface on the patio. With three different pours it took 75 yards of concrete. This wall and patio are here to stay. This undertaking was engineering on the fly! It is difficult to plan with all the unknowns and the scope of this project. Jonathan Pribble Excavating LLC was the brains and muscle behind this project. Jon and his team made all this happen. We are looking forward to a spectacular 2021 season. Continued progress shots of our seawall and dock rebuild! Here you can see the Northern wall section of the project and just how great of a job is being done! Additionally, the concrete patio was ripped up to get ready for a new pour in preparation for many more years of great food, drinks, and views!

Progress update on the seawall and dock rebuild: Still a lot of work left to be done, but we're making some great headway! Here you can see some of the pressure-treated hemlock 6x6 we're using to rebuild and keep The Dock up and running for years to come!

As you may know in October 2019 a massive storm destroyed the Northern sea wall, patio, and docks. In anticipation of getting back to open for the Spring 2021 Season we have started sea wall construction. This is a huge undertaking. The Property is Open to Boaters!

We have Mini Golf, Swings, and a Sandbox all available!
Grab Some Takeout in town (see below for details) and enjoy the view from your Boat!

Menu's are posted at the docks - The Pink Pig and Essex Ice Cream are both serving lunch, and The Essex Inn and Chez Lin & Rays are both serving dinner!

Donations for dock usage are greatly appreciated with funds going towards dock and seawall repairs. Thank you again!

It has been a hard decision, but after weighing out the pros and cons in regard to the 2020 virus, we regret to inform you that Old Dock won't be opening this Summer. We will be back better than ever in 2021 and we look forward to seeing all of you then!
