******* BACKSTAGE CLOSURE *******

Regretfully, after several wonderful years, Backstage will be closing it’s doors at the end of March.

To much dismay, the appeal process was refuted. Therefore, an eviction is inevitable.

Up through closing, I will continue to support this amazing staff with all Necessities for operation, as they transition to new employment. Please come support them!!!

Much gratitude to everyone who supported Backstage throughout the years. It was an incredible adventure and a pleasure serving and interacting with all the wonderful people.

Lastly, to all the local entertainers. Your talent and upbeat delivery of song and dance was undeniably outstanding!!! Thanking you with an applause for all the fabulous times throughout the years!

Departing is not exciting news. It compels a profound heartfelt goodbye to all who enjoyed the services, entertainment and kinship of Backstage.

Essex Reporter never tells the whole story.

I need to address the “Elephant in the room”. Unfortunately, Backstage is dealing with some legal issues according to Essex Reporter.

Essex Reporter hasn’t given the full story, just their version. I ask for your respect while I deal with this circumstance at hand.

Backstage continues to remain open and run uninterrupted. However, if forced to close unexpectedly, there will be notification to all my loyal customers and friends.

My compliance with the proper insurance was approved in 2013 by the landlord. Continued insurance compliance was assumed until a default registered letter was received.
Upon receipt of the letter, the insurance company was notified (same day) to rectify the situation. Unknowingly, it did not meet the timing standards, which showed an insurance default for Backstage.

As of current, it stands in an appeal process to resolve the timing of the default within the courts jurisdiction.

There’s been no loss to the Landlord.

I remain positive. The Success of Backstage remains to be positive!!!

BUSINESS AS USUAL, moving forward..
Again, RELAX!
