At its most basic level, this campaign is about bringing more good craft beer into the Escondido/San Marcos area. But there is much more to it than that; the business I want to create goes much deeper. There is a culture within the craft beer community, and I want my future bar to embody that very culture. Doing things the right way; not the easy or cheap way. While I am in this to make a profit,
that is far from my only goal. I want to create a place with quality products, well taken-care-of team members, and that gives back to the community it is in. Staying with the theme of being about more than just money, this bar will have completely free entertainment! I hate that everywhere you go, you have to pay for everything you do at a bar. Pool, table tennis, shuffleboard, etc. Whatever I have room for and can make feasible, it will be there, and it will not cost you a dime. You work hard enough as is, and you've already bought your beers. No need to tack on a buck to shoot some pool. Aside from the entertainment, there will also be no charge for non-alcoholic beverages for any Designated Drivers. You are already taking one for the team, no need to make you pay for that soda. Likewise, first responders and military will always be taken care of, as they are always taking care of us! Getting back to beer is what this place is all about. Top-quality beer and wine, served by a knowledgeable and caring staff. That is where it's at, my friends. The food that will be served is still up for debate, but there will be something for sure. The area that I am looking to be in is on Grand Avenue in Escondido, Ca. It is a great street, with tons of private, local businesses. That is where I want to set up shop, and where I want to begin my campaign to give back to my city. Being a business owner, to me, means more than just dollars and cents. It is about an opportunity and an obligation to be more involved in local happenings, and to make the city better in any way I can. Being a business owner has long been a dream of mine, and I am looking to you to help make that happen! For every $10 that you donate, you will get a free pint when the bar opens it's doors. Support local business AND get a beer? What more could one wish for? Cheers!
