🍻 AN OKTOBREWFEST UPDATE

For eight years, Oktobrewfest has been a Sixtel tradition. We’ve celebrated it every year since we opened, which makes this a hard announcement to make…

We’ve decided to take this year off from Oktobrewfest.

The truth is, we have SO much happening at Sixtel this September and October, and I had to make a choice. Squeeze Oktobrewfest into an already packed calendar and do a smaller version of it, or give it the time and attention it deserves.

And if you know me, you know I don’t like doing things halfway. 😂

So instead of forcing it just for the sake of saying we did it, Oktobrewfest is taking a year off. 🍺

But trust us… there is absolutely NO shortage of things happening around here!

We still have Girls Night Out, our Gilmore Girls event, Blind Date with a Book, the Fall Festival, Harry Potter, Halloween and more coming your way. 🎃🍂⚡️📚

We’re also putting some of our time and energy into giving back. ❤️ We’ll be hosting a Bingo fundraiser for our local animal shelters, participating in Howl for a Par with SOS Animal Shelter, and hosting another Bingo fundraiser for my upcoming mission trip, helping us purchase toys and supplies to take with us.

And YES …the handmade Oktoberfest mugs are still happening! 🍺🙌

We introduced them last year and loved them too much not to bring them back. This year they’ll be 20 oz., available in new colors, a little less expensive.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is admit that you can’t do everything, especially when you want to do the things you choose to do well.
