Join us tonight at 7PM as we welcome local author Rande Goodwin for our Local Author Spotlight event!

Rande is the author of The Witchfinder’s Serpent, the first book in a new series filled with mystery, magic, and adventure. By day he works in IT, but by night he trains raptors (the prehistoric kind). When he’s not writing, he enjoys reading and travel, restoring vintage Borg drones, dusting vamps in Sunnydale, and being one with the Force.

He’ll be here to talk about his book, answer questions, and connect with fellow readers, so if you love fantasy, adventure, or supporting local creatives, this is a great opportunity to meet the author behind the story.

Grab a glass of wine or a pint of beer, settle in, and join us for a fun and relaxed evening celebrating local talent and great storytelling.

We’re excited to launch our Local Author Spotlight series — and our very first event is this Friday!

Join us for a relaxed evening celebrating local writers, great conversation, and your favorite beverages in our cozy tap room. Each spotlight will feature a different local author sharing insight into their books, answering questions, and mingling with guests. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase signed copies and meet the author personally.

✨ First Featured Author: Jess Allen
Romance author Jess Allen will be joining us to discuss her debut novel Bleeding Outside the Lines (released June 2024). When she’s not writing, she’s camping, tackling her ever-growing TBR pile, watching true crime documentaries, or rewatching Veronica Mars and Gilmore Girls.

Due to the snow and road conditions, we’ll be closed today, Monday, February 23rd.

R Dee Winery is a family owned winery with a focus on grape to glass by utilizing grapes from regions that grow them best. Our grandfather, Richard Dee, taught us to put family first and always follow your dreams. He has inspired us to continue to make wine as he did for years creating many wonderful memories. We hope to one day own our own vineyard and continue to make great wine in Connecticut. Pour a glass and create your story.

Our winery was designed and built by hand by the owners and their families. The McAuliffe's and their family designed the place with a vision of tradition and romance. They stained the ceiling, put in the floors, built the bar and included many little touches throughout the tasting room to make it all come together. The winery is a relaxing place where you can feel at home with a glass of wine, family and friends and good conversation and company.
