Otto's was first opened in 1968 by their father, Otto Schiberl . Darryl Schiberl and Holly Schiberl Ielase now run the daily operations and family traditions at Otto's Tavern. Otto's Tavern, known otherwise as the "Home of the Big Women" is well known for their delicious homemade tacos, a recipe that was handed down from their mother, Thelma. Over the years, Otto's Tavern has changed on the insid
e and outside, but still has the same friendly charm of a small town bar which draws a wide variety of people. It is a smoking bar, therefore no one under 18 years of age is permitted inside per LCB laws. However, an outside patio was added several years ago to accommodate families or those who choose to dine/drink outside. Otto's has a menu filled with delicious foods at affordable prices including munchies, wings, hoagies, salads burgers, pizzas and more. Otto's Tavern offers free entertainment on many weekends including dj's and bands. They also host many theme and holiday parties throughout the year. Otto's welcomes poker runs and also hosts their own annual charity poker run in memory of their father, Otto and an annual benefit memorial golf outing in memory of their brother Brion. Otto's Tavern loves the community that they are in and hope that you will visit them soon in the quaint little town of Emlenton.
