Thank you Town of Emerald Isle for offering this great service all summer for our community and businesses! Use the Trolley folks! It’s free and it’s convenient to pretty much all of our local businesses including Kathryn’s! Trolley stops are clearly marked - ours is not too far away right near the E Club. Use it . It’s better than an all expense paid ride to Beaufort (if you know what we mean). 😜 Thanks Town of EI! You Rock! 💚

Well, y’all… it’s that time of year again here in Emerald Isle. Labor Day Weekend is upon us, which means the unofficial end of summer is getting a little too close for comfort. 😭

Those lazy beach days… working on your tan… and then heading out for cocktails and a great meal at your favorite little Bistro & Martini Bar. 😉🍸

Yeah… we’re sad too.

BUT SUMMER ISN’T OVER YET! ☀️🏖️ And just so we’re perfectly clear — Kathryn’s isn’t shutting down for the season. Or EVER, for that matter! 😂

Happy Saturday, everyone! ☀️🌴 And what a beautiful, sunny SCORCHER of a beach day it is!

So… in case you’ve had about all the sun and sand you can take, and you’re ready to trade that blazing August heat for some glorious A/C… we’re here for you. 😎

Kathryn’s is still serving LUNCH, and we’ve got plenty to tempt you — burger wraps, grouper bites, Bistro Bowls, crab cakes… just to name a few. And did we mention the martinis? 🍸 Ice cold, refreshing, and especially delicious on a blistering August afternoon.🌞🍳🍸

(For our martini people… that stands for India Pale Ale. 😏)

Now, let’s be honest… Kathryn’s is definitely more shaken than hopped. 🍸 But if an IPA is your drink of choice, we’ve got you covered with Hazy Little Thing and Conehead waiting on the beer list.🍻

If you’re sticking with what Kathryn’s does best, though… our bartenders are already shaking up your favorite martinis while our chefs are cooking up dinner specials that’ll have you making plans with us every night this weekend.

Can you believe it? Today is the last day of July. Depending on who you ask, it’s either the home stretch of summer… or the beginning of the countdown to school, routines, alarm clocks and all that other nonsense. 😒

But before we start mourning summer, let’s celebrate something a little more fun…

Today is Black Tot Day! ⚓🥃

On July 31, 1970, the British Navy officially ended a tradition that had lasted more than 200 years—daily rum rations for its sailors. Every July 31, rum lovers raise a glass, swap a few stories and toast “the good old days.”

Well… we can relate. Summer may be winding down, but we’re not waving the white flag just yet.

So round up your crew and make your way to Kathryn’s! Our specials are fresh, delicious and absolutely worth putting off that “back to reality” feeling for another day. The martinis are ice cold, and if you’re celebrating Black Tot Day, we’ve got plenty of rum waiting for you! Try a Mojito Martini, a Hawaiian Martini, or let our bartenders surprise you with your new favorite.

It’s raining, it’s pouring, and the beach? Not exactly beaching today. So what do you do when those summer storms roll in?

Easy.

🛍️ Go shopping.
🍴 Grab a delicious lunch.
🍸 Add a little day drinking.

Lucky for you, today just happens to be National Tequila Day! 🎉

So round up your crew, hand the TV remote (and the PIN 😜) to the responsible kid, and make a run for Kathryn’s!

Sure… you could order the standard margarita. We make a pretty darn good one. But why not let Kathryn’s cooler, classier martini cousins steal the spotlight instead?

WOW! It is a HOT one at the beach today! 🥵☀️

Are you officially sunburned enough that everyone back home can tell you’ve been living your best beach life while they’ve been stuck under fluorescent office lights? Perfect. Your work here is done. 😂 Now pack up the chair, wrestle the Shibumi back into its bag and get yourself to Kathryn’s!😎🍸

Our AC is cranking, the food is fresh and the martinis are ice-cold—because you’ve already had enough warm beverages from that cooler. 😜🍸

Tell the fam’ you need to “run to the store,” or bring them along—the fun ones, obviously. We’re open for lunch at noon and serving dinner at 4:00, so come cool down, grab something delicious and reward yourself for surviving another grueling day of doing absolutely nothing on the beach. 😂
