Fall Has a Way of Slowing Things Down

There’s something special about fall at the edge of the BWCA. Crisp mornings, changing leaves, quiet trails and that unmistakable feeling that you’ve got nowhere else to be.

Built in 1919, Silver Rapids is one of Minnesota’s original resorts, tucked into the Superior National Forest just 4 scenic miles from Ely. Whether you’re planning a fall fishing trip, a weekend on the trails or simply a getaway in the woods, we’ve got a place for you.

Choose from cabins, guest rooms and campsites—perfect for gathering with your crew or sneaking away for a little time outdoors.

Explore the trails behind the property, cast a line from our docks or hit the Prospector Loop for an ATV adventure. And when the day winds down, grab a drink at the bar, settle in for a meal and enjoy the laid-back fun at the lodge.

Fall doesn’t need a packed itinerary. Sometimes, it just needs a good view, a cozy place to stay and a little more time outside.

Come find yours at Silver Rapids Lodge.
