You guys, I am SO excited for this one. Steven Solkela (you may know him as the goofy guy that plays the accordion on a unicycle during the parades) will be here on Saturday, August 15th from 5-8!!

This guy is so funny, and I guarantee that he will lighten any dull mood you may have from the fires and event cancellations.

Come out to Samz and have the night out that you deserve! 😁

We are going to extend our “offer of space” to vendors. Food trucks can’t park on the grass, but small booths absolutely can!

We have yard and deck space available to anyone displaced from the Blueberry Fest. If you’d like to set up a booth outside Samz’ Place, give the bar a call or comment/message on here, we’ll even give you some free advertisement! 😁

With the closure of the 2026 Blueberry Arts Festival, I’m looking to see if there are any displaced food trucks looking for somewhere to go on Friday and/or Saturday.

I know it’s not in downtown Ely, but we have a parking lot big enough to support one or two trucks. You guys have product to sell, and we have hungry customers at the bar. You can comment below or message us directly if you’d like to set up!

We have super last minute entertainment for tonight - Pam from Ranger Things will be out with her piano to play some low key music for us!

She generously offered to donate any tips she makes to the firefighters in our area!! Thank you so much Pam!!

We hope everyone comes out and enjoys a nice evening at Samz’ 😁

We serve Heggies’ Pizza all day every day!

We know it can be a little difficult finding a place to grab a bite to eat late at night, but if our doors are open, we have pizza! Pizza on the house for firefighters, donated by the Ely Area Ambulance
