Live music is as important as fresh house-made meals, premium liquor, our range of beer and fine wine and welcoming customer service at Black Moon Public House.
We give every musician an opportunity to perform on our stage. In the showbiz tradition, we say "show us what you got."
One of our customers told us about a band that was rehearsing in his garage. He spoke highly of their work ethic, regular rehearsal schedule and how they were getting noticeably better and better.
This got our attention. A classic "garage band." Say no more. We love giving an unknown band a chance, and being part of their rising career should they prove to have what it takes to do so.
Having music 4, sometimes 5 nights a week we don't have the budget to pay what many acts need or deserve, but we paid what we could. If the band showed promise, our generous customers would shower them with tips, and better yet, become fans.
T.O.M.B. was that band. They brought their show, their friends and family, a rehearsed two hour show, merch and rock'n'roll swagger to Black Moon.
Since that first show, they have not looked back. Instead they have booked more shows around the state and continue to grow as musicians and showmen. Sadly, they may outgrow regular shows at Black Moon, as they become more popular and in demand. We recognize the upward trajectory of their career and are thrilled to be part of their well-deserved success.
Yeah, it was a fantastic night last night.
