Bloom has begun! This Chardonnay block at is just starting to pop. Those tiny clusters might look like baby grapes, but they’re actually flowers — technically called "inflorescence". If you look closely, you can spot the little stamen and pistil on the first blooms. After flowering and pollination comes fruit set, when each tiny bloom has the potential to become a single berry. 🥂
