At The Horseshoe Tavern, we take great pride in being a welcoming, inclusive, and community-centered establishment that treats every guest with fairness and respect. Recently, false accusations have circulated online suggesting that our business or staff acted in a racist manner during an incident at our establishment.
These allegations are completely untrue and do not reflect the reality of what occurred or who we are as a business.

To clarify, the individual making these claims was asked to leave the premises after engaging in unsafe and disruptive behavior, including standing on the pool table, throwing pool balls, and refusing to follow staff instructions. Our team acted responsibly to protect the safety of our customers and employees.
At no point did race, appearance, or any other factors play any role in our decision to intervene. The claim that our staff “assulted” anyone is false.

We understand that situations like this can be misrepresented online, but we remain confident in the integrity of our team and the fairness of our actions. The Horseshoe Tavern does not tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind.

We encourage anyone with concerns to contact management directly for accurate information.

Our sons college roommate Josh, was severely Injured in car accident in Oxford, MS late last week. He’s going to have a long road to recover and his family is asking for help getting him back home to Houston, TX. TIA!
