Timber Cutter IPA was born out of a simple hankerin’. A bold IPA that won’t wreck a diet. We played around with some of our processes to hit the mark of low cal and low carb. Then we added a bunch of hops! Maybe not quite that simple, but you get the idea. Fun fact.. this also led to the creation of our Country Roads Trust and Pine Room lagers, too.

Skidder Brown Ale was created approximately seven years ago as a very small test batch. For our 10 year anniversary, we brought it back in a big way! In 2025, Skidder won a Gold Medal at the World Beer Cup. Something we are incredibly proud of.

In Elkins, West Virginia, you can generally count on the weather being a little overcast or a little hazy. Today, we’re putting the spotlight on Overcast, our flagship Hazy IPA! As Big Timber’s original and most popular hazy, we brew it with over 4.5 lbs/bbl of Citra, Mosaic, El Dorado, and Azacca hops for a big tropical punch.
