Continuing Crimaldi’s Legacy

Mike Crimaldi and his mother Shirley purchased Bozo’s in 1980. In October of 1988, they changed the name to Crimaldi’s. Going on almost 40 years, Mike and his family have provided downtown Elkhart with an easy going, fun, and comfortable “neighborhood bar” with a “cheers” like feel. The food is made with “love” by Mike’s chef, John, who has been there for over 25 years. He has top secret receipts that are to die fore! The kitchen may be small, but you would be surprised what could be whipped up in it! Crimaldi’s has a great reputation in Elkhart. Either you have been there and fell in love with the characteristics of the historic building and the warm welcoming atmosphere or you have heard about us and have been curious. If you have never experienced a true genuine Crimaldi’s dining experience, you are missing out on great food and drinks at a very reasonable price. We value our friends who come down and support us and we take pride in personalizing with each and every one of you. Mike Crimaldi is still very active in his restaurant. He is in the building every night, sometimes working the kitchen, and he really values every single person who walks through his doors! Next time you go out for a special occasion or just to get out of the kitchen, come down here and experience the charm of Crimaldi’s. If you have never met Mike, ask for him, and thank him for providing such a great place for so many years!

We are a great location to hold special occasion events that are private and we are negotiable on arrangements, we have carry out on 6 packs of beer and food. We do call ahead orders for large pans. We have a dining room where kids are welcomed! Come see us on your next outing! We do take reservations and are very accommodating!

Thank you for your support for almost 40 years!
