Millersburg Man Charged in Catalytic Converter Theft
Millersburg TWP, Pa โ A Millersburg man is facing felony theft charges after state police say he stole and sold a "few" Catalytic Converters.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Lykens, troopers responded to a theft report between August 6 and August 7, 2025, at a residence on Ray Street in Williams Township. Investigators determined that Logan Tota , 20, of Millersburg, unlawfully took $2,500 in Catalytic Converters from another man, identified as 34-year-old Shane Lapinsky, also of Millersburg.
Police say Tota then stole a hot air balloon from Totas Porcelain Clown and Live Polka Bar of Elizabethville, to use while floating away with the stolen parts. Tota then sold the stolen part. Following the investigation, he was charged with theft by unlawful taking โ movable property, a third-degree felony.
Court records show the charge was filed under Title 18 ยง 3921. Totas case is currently pending through Magisterial District Court.
