🇺🇸 Supporting the Next Generation of Leaders 🇺🇸

This summer, Hardin Post 113 is proud to support the Cadet Summer Camp by assisting with in-processing operations for hundreds of future Army leaders.

Over the course of 10 in-processing days during June and July, approximately 600 cadets will arrive each day to begin their summer training experience. To help make their long days a little easier, we are donating individually packaged snacks for the cadets.

📅 In-Processing Dates:
• June 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28
• July 2, 8, 12, 16

We at Hardin Post strides make a positive impact on the lives of over 6,000 cadets this summer.

Thank you for helping us continue our mission of Service Not Self.

On Monday, June 8th at 6:00 PM, Hardin Post 113 will host our monthly New Members Orientation, and we invite not only our newest members, but also anyone in the community who would like to learn more about what we do.

Whether you’re a veteran, a family member of a veteran, or simply curious about our mission of service to veterans, youth, and the community, we welcome you to join us.

Members of Hardin Post 113 will be on hand to provide tours of our facility, explain the various programs and organizations within The American Legion Family, and answer any questions you may have.

This is a great opportunity to discover how you can become part of an organization dedicated to veterans, patriotism, mentorship, and community service.

No obligation. No membership required. Just come, meet our members, tour the facility, and learn more about the programs and services we provide to veterans, their families, and our community.

🇺🇸 BE THE ONE WALK – Join Us and Make a Difference 🇺🇸

Every veteran has a story. Every veteran matters. Sometimes, all it takes is one person to listen, care, and reach out.

On Saturday, June 6, we invite our community to join us for the Be The One Walk, a veteran su***de prevention awareness event supporting The American Legion’s Be The One initiative.

📅 Date: Saturday, June 6
⏰ Meet Time: 7:45 AM | Walk Begins: 8:00 AM
📍 Location: Southeast Christian Church
600 N. Dixie Hwy, Elizabethtown, KY

Participants will walk approximately 2.2 miles, helping raise awareness about veteran su***de prevention while demonstrating our commitment to supporting those who have served our nation.

Sadly, an average of 22 veterans die by su***de each day. Together, we can help change that statistic through connection, compassion, and action.

💙 Be the one who listens.
💙 Be the one who cares.
💙 Be the one who makes a difference.

This event is open to the public, and we encourage everyone to participate. After the walk, join us for brunch and fellowship at Hardin Post 113, 1251 Ring Road, Elizabethtown.
