Our calendar is now OPEN for events starting in December 2026. Our event space is a 1,200 square foot open room, suitable for all kinds of events. We have banquet tables and seating available, and the room also has a small stage, projector screen, podium, and sound system. An optional additional space is the back bar area, which can be closed off from the rest of the restaurant space to have a bar just for your event.

Less than two years after opening in Ephrata, Inspiration Brewing Company is preparing to expand with a second location in downtown Elizabethtown. An early September opening is planned.

Sous Chef - Elizabethtown, PA

Working closely with the Executive Chef, you'll play a hands-on role in shaping the kitchen's identity: developing menu items, building out kitchen systems and standards, and helping assemble and train the team that will bring it all to life. If you're looking for a cookie-cutter line cook job, this isn't it. If you want to help build a kitchen from day one, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do
Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development and help shape the overall culinary program
Play an active role in hiring cooks, and help train and develop the kitchen team alongside the Executive Chef
Work all stations on the line — you'll need to be comfortable moving wherever the kitchen needs you
Handle prep work to keep the kitchen stocked and ready for service
Run expo, keeping tickets accurate and food moving smoothly to the floor
Open and close the kitchen, including all associated checklists and procedures
Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen that runs at a high standard night after night
Step in as a leader on the line when the Executive Chef isn't present

What We're Looking For
Minimum 5 years of full-service restaurant cooking experience
Experience working in a high-volume kitchen
Comfort and confidence across all stations of the line
A collaborative mindset — this role is as much about building a team and a program as it is about cooking
Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example during busy service

Preferred (not required):
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager
Experience with ordering and inventory management

The most recent version of our Hazy Inspirations series went pretty fast. So much so that you all almost caught us unprepared for the next iteration, but it's done just in time. There's just a little bit of Vera left, but if you want a preview of the newest in our hazy series you can come to Hill Hop Yard tomorrow afternoon. We will have it there, so that you can get it before it's on tap back at the taproom.

📣Introducing Hazy Inspirations: Elani📣

In April we went to the Craft Brewers Conference in Philly. One of the vendors that we talked to was who has a new hop called Elani. We got to smell it and decided that would be the next in our series of hazy IPAs. When we told Yakima Quality Hops about it, they were generous enough to send us a sample to try it in our b**r. We like it, and we hope that you will, too.

Draft will be available in the taproom as soon as the last of Vera is kicked. Cans will be coming soon after!
