Only one year and one season late: Winter 2026! Please remember… if it was easy everyone would do it but it’s somthing we can’t mess up because too many people have put their trust in us.

The project has never stopped moving forward and still is and this was perhaps slower then we hoped but similar to a lot of projects that happen. I won’t pass on promises made by others but we hope to be open for business Winter 2026.

I would ask if you could pray that this space comes together to budget and on time and that it’s a place of community, love, and joy. A place where conversation and connection happens and the spirit of the community shines. Amen

Update on construction process for our new location in Elgin:

We are still full steam ahead to have plans submitted for permitting the early part of next month.

It’s taking way way longer than we wanted to get to this point but I assure you this place will be built beautifully and successfully.

Please know that all of the city council members and the city manager have been FANTASTIC and have regularly reached out to us to ask how things are going.

The good news is that interest rates and construction expenses are coming down right before we get building! That’s a beautiful thing because interest on this project is like a mountain compared to a home! 😅
