Hey Jazz Chicas...

If you are a female vocalist or instrumentalist and are from the 7th -12th grade and interested in learning more about jazz and improvisation then this is a great program for you....even better its FREE!!

The teaching artists are all professional female teaching artists from Texas. We are also excited to see Candice Reyes-Mireles from New Jersey/New York coming down to be part of the teaching artists along with the other talented female teachers. El Paso Jazz Girls is bringing gender equity to the sun city’s jazz community! Learn about improvisation, meet and play with girls from all over El Paso, celebrate at the final concert, and end the jazz boy club. Open to all female-identifying musicians 7th-12th grade. Any and all instruments and vocalists welcome.
