Dear valued guests of 1818 Offshore,
We would like to take a moment to express how much your support has meant to us over the years. Your unwavering presence and the laughs we shared made a world of difference. Your support has been instrumental in our journey, and we are deeply appreciative of it. You have a special place in our hearts, and we're so very thankful for you every day.
As our lease comes to an end this fall, we will be closing the doors at 1818 Offshore for the last time. During this transition, our family would like to take these next couple of months to say our goodbyes at 1818 Offshore. We will miss our oyster aficionados stopping into the bar for a cold one and heaping trays of briny, beautiful mollusks. We will miss our crab-cracking friends who visited us weekly to be crabby together. Lastly, we sure will miss being here, in our "spot," our original "home" at Park Plaza, with all of you. Countless memories have been made in this building, and we would be lying if we said it doesn't hurt to turn the page...
Our timeline is not set in stone, but within the next two and a half months, we will be turning off the lights for the last time. While we would love for our entire crew to finish our last days of service together, we empathize with them during this difficult situation. We understand that this transition may be challenging, and we encourage them to put themselves first. With that being said, limiting our hours in the upcoming weeks may be necessary should they wish to seek immediate employment elsewhere. Please continue to view our website or check our Google page prior to visiting to confirm hours of operation.
Starting September 18th, 2024, gift cards will no longer be sold for future visits. We encourage those with existing gift cards to schedule a visit with us prior to our lease expiration, as gift cards for 1818 Offshore will expire at the conclusion of the business closure.
We want to assure our loyal customers that our seafood dishes will not be going away. Many of our signature dishes that everyone has come to know and love at 1818 Offshore will be incorporated into our upcoming fall menu changes at 1818 Chophouse for your continued enjoyment.
As this chapter comes to an end, we would like to take a moment to acknowledge our valued partnership with Meyer Properties. It has been a pleasure to work with you over the last 12 years. Once upon a time, two 20-something-year-olds and a very supportive, amazing father had a dream. The Meyer Family (Joe) took a gamble on our future with us as his tenants. From 1818 Chophouse to 1818 Offshore, his faith in us has provided countless blessings and created job opportunities for thousands of people over the past 12 years, and for that, we are forever grateful.
To my dear friend Deb Vuagniaux, thank you for all of your hard work designing such a beautiful and relaxing space for us to enjoy.
I believe opportunity is built on faith, hard work, hope, and strong relationships. May there be continued opportunities for those who are hungry and looking for a seat at the dinner table.
Your appreciation and support have not only sustained us but also provided us with lasting memories. We are grateful for the moments we've shared and the experiences we've had together. Thank you for being a part of our journey. ๐
